Most solid hardwood can be refinished several times over its life. Very thin, cupped, or previously over-sanded boards may not have enough wood left, and in those cases we will recommend a new hardwood floor installation instead.
We use dust-controlled sanders and contain the work area, so cleanup is far lighter than the old open-sanding method. Some fine dust is normal, and we clean thoroughly before applying finish.
